The construction site of China Petroleum Building is located in the north of the East Second Ring Road Traffic and Business District, Dongcheng District, Beijing, northwest of Dongzhimen Bridge, and opposite to Dongzhimen Transportation Hub. The total land area is 22,519.884 square meters, and the building scale is 200,000 square meters. The design content of this project is the headquarters office building of China National Petroleum Corporation, including office rooms, conference centers, business centers, large network center computer rooms, smart offices, etc., including canteens, commercial services, etc., and attached living service facilities.

Throughout the construction process, the principle of "advanced use, system matching, and overall optimization" has always been implemented. A large number of new processes, new technologies, and new materials have been widely used in this project. It is a large-scale, high-standard, and intelligent high-rise building. This project uses seven-color black, silver, and champagne aluminum veneers for decoration, with a supply volume of 50,000 square meters. The project has won the China Construction First Bureau (Group) Quality Cup, China State Construction Engineering Corporation CI Gold Award, Beijing's "Structural Great Wall Cup - Gold Cup", "Architecture (Completion) Great Wall Cup - Gold Cup", Beijing's Safe and Civilized Construction Site, "Ministry of Construction Science and Technology Demonstration Project", the Ministry of Construction's highest level "Three-Star Certification" for building energy efficiency assessment, and the 2009 China Construction Project Lu Ban Award, and has achieved good economic and social benefits.
